Abstract art has a precise purpose | Arts & Culture
Title (Max 100 Charaters)
The Eugene Storefront Art Project will be installing abstract art on West Broadway on Tuesday starting at 11 a.m.
Working in conjunction with the Lorig Group, ESAP will be putting works of art in vacant storefronts to encourage foot traffic in this part of downtown.
The space located at 200 W. Broadway, which was the former home of the Broadway Bistro, will be transformed into an instant window gallery with abstracts by Sandra Kay Bulley and Ron Omlin.
Next door at 260 W. Broadway will feature funereal art from Cynthia Beal and across the street at 245 W. Broadway will be sculpture from David P. Miller.
This is all part of ESAP's effort to revitalize downtown Eugene through the use of art.
