EUGENE, Ore. - You'll get the "hole" update today (Mar. 4) in Downtown Eugene as officials hold a groundbreaking for the planned $53-million Lane Community College downtown campus. U.S. Representative Peter DeFazio, LCC President Mary Spilde and other dignitaries will take part, as officials do the ceremonial dirt tossing into the pit. The project is at the former Sears building site.
