Mark Furman

Mark Furman is the Web producer for KVAL.com and KVAL Communities. He moved to Eugene in April 2007 to teach reporting at the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communications after serving as editor of the Baker City Herald newspaper in eastern Oregon from 1999 to 2007.

Since moving to Eugene in April 2007, Furman has lived in Bethel on the northwest edge of the urban growth boundary and in the Friendly Street neighborhood of South Eugene. He now lives and works in South Eugene but visits River Road/Santa Clara, Sheldon, University and other neighborhoods along Eugene's bicycle trails every chance he gets.
